Job Description This role is an important member of the Regulatory Management team within TD Internal Audit and reports to the Senior Audit Group Manager, Regulatory Management. Regulatory Management is the central point of contact for regulatory matters for the Global Internal Audit (IA) Division and is responsible for the overall management of Internal Audit regulatory requests as well as ensuring proper response and remediation tracking of any regulatory findings related to the Division. This position is highly visible and requires frequent interaction with Senior Management (internal and external) and stakeholders to ensure regulatory deadlines are met in all cases. Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Facilitate responses to regulatory requests, prepares related reporting for internal and external stakeholders, and is the primary liaison with these stakeholders. ? Balance the needs of US and Canadian Internal Audit management teams, stakeholders and regulatory authorities. ? Advise and challenge Senior Management on Internal Audit responses. ? Support audit teams for regulatory matters. ? Contribute to Board of Director reporting and Audit Practices updates ? Participate in relevant initiatives/projects. ? Provide recommendations on any Audit methodology and practice changes needed to ensure proper remediation of regulatory matters. ? Provide general support for Internal Audit validation of regulatory findings related to lines of business. ? Work in close partnership with various stakeholders to meet needs of the Audit Division. ? Effectively work in teams and develop relationships across the Division and with key stakeholders (including Control Process Group (CPG)/US Regulatory Program Management (RPM)/Canada Regulatory Risk (RR) and business partners) Requirements Bachelor's degree required ? Advanced degree preferred ? 8
years related experience required ? PC skills (MS Office Suite) ? Excellent oral and written communication skills ? Advanced critical thinking ? Risked based decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills ? Advanced analytical skills Preferred:
Previous Regulatory Management experience Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & ComplianceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
