Process Piping DesignerWe are seeking a Mid/Senior Process Piping Designer for Power Generation for our office in Mount Laurel, NJ.
This challenging position offers a competitive salary with exciting opportunities at a busy, employee-owned engineering firm.
Responsibilities include:
Working in a team environment with minimal direction to develop process piping models, equipment arrangements, field verification responsibilities on established sites and sites in construction, QA responsibilities of process piping design deliverables, and process piping design software administration.
Required Education/ExperienceAssociate degree in Design and Drafting (or equivalent technical degree) or 10 years of documented experience5 years of design/drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation3D modeling design experience using Hexagon CAD-Worx or Hexagon Smart-plantCoordination model experience with NavisworksKnowledge of process piping design, standards, and specificationsDesired Experience3D modeling design experience using Hexagon CAD-Worx and Hexagon Smart-plantOrganizational experience with P&IDs, orthographic, isometrics, general arrangements, and related detail drawings.
