Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team.
The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar - Verify insurance coverage and process patient paperwork - Collect and record patient information, including medical history and insurance details - Assist with billing and financial transactions, including processing payments and submitting insurance claims - Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally - Manage office supplies and inventory - Perform general administrative tasks as needed Skills:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role - Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology - Proficient in using dental software systems (e.
g.
, Dentrix) - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes We offer competitive pay based on experience.
