Description PHH's Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team manages a broad range of business and financial activities for the organization. As a Financial Analyst you will gain exposure to PHH's executive management team, support the development of the yearly budget, assist with the monthly forecasting process, produce key reporting, and help solve complex challenges that face our organization. The analyst in this fast-paced and high-potential position will quickly develop valuable skills in financial statement analysis, forecasting, and operational strategy.
Responsibilities:
Support the initiatives and activities of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis department including:
o Assist with development of annual financial plan & monthly forecasting process
o Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages
o Analyze financial results and investigate variances
o Assist with Executive reporting and BoD packages
o Support administrative responsibilities for financial planning system
o Perform ad hoc requests relating to business analytics, long range planning, expense analysis and strategic initiatives as needed
Requirements o Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required
o 1-3 years of experience in planning and analysis required
o Financial services industry experience a plus
o Ideal candidate will adapt quickly to a changing work environment and prioritize tasks in an efficient, time oriented manner
o Candidate must have exceptional analytical skills including financial modeling and forecasting
o Outstanding written and spoken communication skills with experience presenting to leadership teams
o Experience in Oracle Hyperion Planning a plus
o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
