Project Manager Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for results oriented Project Manager with strong SDLC/PMLC experience. The Project Manager should have experience with all phases of SDLC and PMLC cycles, Six Sigma and should be familiar with all deliverables on the projects that they?ve managed and completed. Must be results oriented and should be able to work under high pressure situations.
Project Manager Job Details
This individual will be supporting multiple projects in this role. Projects include the new ones as well as the projects that are in progress and range from $100K to $5MM in budget.
They will work with a team size from 10-40, depending on the project size. This is not a hands-on technical PM position but they need to have an understanding and experience with technology projects.
The individual should also have Problem management, portfolio management and Infrastructure management skills.
Key accountabilities are:
- Works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
- Manages activities of small to medium complexity projects. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
- Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, initiation, planning, execution, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure to meet schedules.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and PMLC process, Agile process. Must have managed full project life cycle.
- Management of Tier 3, Tier4 and Tier 5 projects (ranging in size from $100K to $5MM), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
- Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget/financials, risk and resources.
- Accountability for project budget and timelines. SKILLS: Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects. Full life cycle development experience. Experience with proven project methodology tools.
- Project status reporting, budget tracking, timesheet allocation and resource management.
- Ability to work in challenging and fast paced environment.
- Ensure all project deliverables like BRD, SRS, SDS, SDP..etc are completed and approved on time.
- Act as central point of contact and owner for all project activities until completely delivered and project is closed.
- Work closely with all project stakeholders and maintain excellent communication.
- Prior Business Analyst experience is preferred.
- Ability to work under high pressure situations with tight timelines. Should be a go getter and result oriented.
- Ability to do nightly deployments for projects and BAU. Ability to work off hours when needed.
- Knowledge of application development, design, deployment and review processes.
- Knowledge of PEGA and Web services technologies and deployments will be a nice to have.
- Ability to capture minutes, run meetings, publish action items, risks and issues. Follow up to close all action items.
- Tracking project financials, resources hours, actuals tracking and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Retail applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of change control and change management procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic and result oriented.
- Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Knowledge of Clarity is preferred.
Project Manager Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and PMLC process. Must have managed all phases of the project.
- Managing multiple small to medium size projects at the same time.

- Software packaging 2 yrs
- SDLC/PMLC 5 yrs
- Project deployment and software packaging and distribution process experience. (No desktop deployment)
- Infrastructure project management experience will be a good addition
- Advance Microsoft project, PowerPoint and excel skills.
- MUST have a bachelor?s degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
