Fee Specialist
Job Description Kelly Service is currently looking for a Fee Specialist to work in Mount Laurel, NJ.
This is a long term contract position.
JOB DESCRIPTION The Fee Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely fundings of all mortgage loans.
The Fee Specialist will determine which loans are priority by using the closing dates listed on the funding report which is emailed twice a day.
- Look up the loan information and type of loan in processing software to determine what additional steps need to be completed for the loan.
- Call the Closing Agent to verify wiring instructions and closing date.
- If all loan information has already been updated in the system, the loan is ready to fund and a request will be sent.
If all loan information is not in the system, the Fee Specialist will call the Closing Agent to request information and follow up with the Closing Agent periodically on any missing information from the loan to make sure it is received.
- Email the Loan Processor, Funding Supervisor and Loan Processing Supervisor to notify of any changes to loan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have excellent communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with Closing Attorneys and team players.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
- Good judgment and decision making ability required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and experience working in a windows based environment required.
- Must be flexible with any additional projects that are introduced based on the needs of the department.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, high volume, market driven work environment.
- Candidates should be open to flexible scheduling options and ability to adapt/change as needed.
This may include the ability to work additional hours or alternative shift in order to meet business needs and essential functions of the job.
- Ability to stay motivated and focused while completing repetitive yet business critical.
