Marketing Coordinator
Seeking a Marketing Coordinator immediately
Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ
M-F 8:30am to 5pm, 40 hours a week with possible OT
Pay rate range $19 - $22/ hour
Immediate opening for a dependable individual that is a proactive team and individual player that can assist in the marketing department. The candidate must have excellent organizational, time management and writing skills. This role is involved with Direct Mail, Online promotions and Public Relations. The candidate should be able to:
Assist with day-to-day coordination and delivery tactics for American Water Resources within specified segment of new customer acquisition and existing cross/upsell efforts
Use direct mailing, online promotions and Public Relations
Support creative review of all customer acquisition direct mail pieces which includes, but is not limited to, ensuring data accuracy, gathering feedback, communicating necessary changes with team and gaining legal approval
Update campaign and media tracking reports with monthly results
Produce campaign fact sheets for call center training and support email campaign needs
Manage timelines, proof read, edit copy and work with agencies as well as coordinator with the rest of the department in terms of what mailings are going out
Required Skills
Assertive and independent thinking in daily work and decision-making; undertake all aspects of work with a sense of urgency
Ability to advise internal staff on communication issues, ensuring promptness and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills (tact/diplomacy, listening, questioning)
Strong computer skills (Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications)
Strong sense of enthusiasm, interest and motivation in all aspects of the business.
Knowledge of marketing and sales cycles
Ability to deliver timely, quality, clear, concise and accurate work
Ability to develop and maintain relationships/alliances with external and internal client groups
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related discipline
2-4 years' Marketing experience out of college
